When you walk in and see the view of the ocean you will be delighted. When you go outside to the lanai, the spectacular 180-degree views will take your breath away. Each morning you can watch the sun come up over Haleakala.
We are located at the Kanai A Nalu, one of only three complexes in Maalaea that is on the beach. The other 7 properties are on a reef. Many have coin $ operated laundry rooms. Two are next to the busy Maalaea Harbor, with its traffic & boat engine noise. Some do not have Air and some have distant parking lots, forcing you to carry your bags a long ways.
We are on 4 miles of beach, located on a quiet cul-de-sac with Free parking. A convenient, ground floor unit, with our own washer/dryer and air conditioning. There are beautiful tropical grounds, 4 BBQ's, comfortable chaise lounges, a heated pool and a beachside shower.
Being a Corner we have NO NEIGHBORS ON ONE SIDE. It is quieter, more private and has incredible views of the beach from the master bedroom's wall-to-wall windows. Our bedrooms are “traditional” rooms with solid walls and locking doors. In the master is a $2600 "Sleep Numbers" adjustable king with dual remotes. Each side can be set to the desired firmness or softness. Twin beds in the 2nd bedroom can be pushed together to create another king. Both bedrooms have beautiful décor, wood blinds, ceiling fans & TVs.
There is free Wireless Internet, two convenient wall-mounted hair dryers, and a lovely portable crib. Updated again in 2008, we added beautiful new counter tops. In the bedrooms we added new ceiling fans (the condo has six), a safe for valuables and new pillow top mattresses on the twin beds. In the living room we added new paint and new upholstry. For the family we have games, sand toys, DVD and VHS movies, boogie boards, books, linens, bedding, beach towels and beach chairs.
The previous owner was in a wheelchair. He enlarged doorways, the master shower and the lanai. It is twice the size of the others. It has 2 tables and 6 chairs instead of the normal 4.
The kitchen has everything, including a lg. stove, fridge w/icemaker, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, cookware, utensils, silverware, dishes, an iron/ironing board and a washer/dryer.
The master bath has an over sized (wheelchair accessible), shower with two showerheads. The other bath has a full size tub, with shower above. Each has a wall-mounted "hotel quality" hair dryer.
