MAKAHA VACATION HOUSE RENTAL DESCRIPTION :

Private oceanfront house located on Oahu's West (Waianae) Coast near Makaha Surfing Beach. Enjoy the deep-blue ocean and great sunsets from the lanai and large grass lawn. Nap to the sound of the waves. The property fronts coral reefs and is five houses to a sandy cove where green turtles come to shore and bask in the sand. The main house is upstairs; three bedrooms, two full baths, family room, well stocked kitchen, living room, fully-furnished with cotton sheets, beach towels, two king size beds, three double beds and two double couch futons. Downstairs is the caretaker's unit. There is high speed internet access for your laptop, cell phone reception is good. The beach cove is one of the few places were sea turtles frequent most days, you can snorkel with with them and tropical fish like Humu'humu'nuku'nuku'apua'a

AIRPORT INFORMATION :

It is about 45 minutes from the Honolulu Airport and an hour from Waikiki. The Waianae Coast is beautiful, the beaches are white sand, the ocean deep blue, and the mountain and valleys provide a stunning backdrop. Makaha is best known for the surf break which is about a half mile from the house. This side of the island is considered the driest, especially compared to the windward (east) side of the island, important during the rainy winter months.
