Located upon a peninsula of Maine's mid-coast region, Blue Hill is at the center of a long stretch of Maine's unique coastline. With jagged coastlines, reversing falls, hiking trails with views of Acadia, Blue Hill harbor, and the Penobscot bay areas, Blue Hill has everything to offer a visitor to the coast. Within and surrounding Blue Hill are seasonal retreats for musicians, boat-building schools, prime scenic islands, and even relic sites of Indian habitation. This beautiful area offers much for residents and visitors alike.
There are 6 rooms at the Inn, which includes 2 suites for families. All rooms have private baths. Two of the rooms are named for early Blue Hill ships.
The Captain's Room - The graceful bedroom of Captain Isaac Merrill, on the 2nd floor, overlooks the town, Original, wide pumpkin-pine floor boards, reveal the hand made nails of long ago
The Julia Elizabeth Room - This elegant room has original wide pumpkin-pine floor boards, the 1830 fireplace, with gas logs installed, a Four Poster queen-size bed, and a well appointed private bath
The Parlor - Situated on the first floor at the front of the house, the Parlor was the “receiving room” for guests. It has four large windows looking over the charming little village
The Courtyard View Room - A charming room looking onto the flowering courtyard garden with wide pine board floors, original fireplace, now working with gas logs, a Queen sized Sleigh Bed
The Mountain View Room - Peeking at Blue Hill Mountain, this room has a private entrance at the back of the house. Windows overlook the courtyard. There is a Four Poster Queen sized bed, fireplace and a private bath
The Magnolia - A Jewel of a little room overlooking the courtyard at the back of the house. The room contains a Double-size antique bed, and a private bathroom
