Twig Cove Cottage sits on the banks of Branch Pond, in Ellsworth, Maine. Branch Pond is one of Maine's premier lakes and its crystal clear water supplies the city of Ellsworth its drinking water. Having only a small public boat launch, Branch Pond is quiet and private, offering that peaceful setting that you expect from a Maine vacation. The house is very comfortably furnished. The living room has a CD player for music and a game table for hours of family enjoyment. The living and dining area is large and open for big family gatherings. It features a woodstove for chilly summer evenings. The den is equipped with satellite TV and a VCR. The room has pocket doors so that TV watchers do not interfere with quieter activities taking place in the living room. Great place for breakfast, day planning, the kids projects...The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with all kitchen needs including cookware and tableware. It has a gas range, dishwasher, trash compactor and microwave. The main house at Twig Cove has three large bedrooms. The master bedroom suite includes a king size bed and a twin daybed for little ones. The daybed enjoys the best view in the house and is a wonderful quiet place to spend an afternoon with a good book. The bedroom is also more than large enough for a portable crib (not provided) if need be. It has a TV and a private sitting balcony.
