For the winter sports enthusiast, downhill and cross country skiing, snowmobiling begin right outside the door. Groomed trails will take you North to Mackinac, South to Grayling, East, West and beyond. Maps at the cabin to help you plan your route. Downhill and cross country skiing also available at Treetops, Boyne, Michiawaye and Schuss Mountain. The local Sportsplex offers swimming, skating and many other activities.
Summer on-site activities include, hiking, hunting, fishing, swimming, bird watching, boating and simply relaxing on the spacious deck overlooking the lake. Only 300 feet to the DNR boat launch. Gaylord is famous for its many golf courses.
