Mamma Bear's Cabin is just up the Hill from the Timber Lodge (see listing #51749), just 2.5 miles from dowtown historic Nevada City, and 3 miles from the breathtaking Yuba River. Situated on 5 treed acres, and next to an 80 acre summer camp, Mamma Bear's Cabin has all the comforts of home with a rustic flair. A private hot tub sits just off the deck. The main bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has a twin bed. There is a full size futon couch in the living room and the cozy kitchen has a 4 burner stove, oven, toaster, coffee maker, and plenty of pots, pans, dishes and utensils.
The large shaded deck has table and chairs for enjoying an outdoor meal or sipping that morning coffee while you watch the kids play in the backyard meadow. Hiking, biking and swimming are all close at hand, with trails within walking distance, and the yuba River just a few minutes drive away. Close at hand are Scotts Flat Lake, Pioneer Park and the ski slopes in winter.
There is plenty to do in this region before you come home to the warmth and comfort of Mamma Bear's Cabin.
