As you enter Lake Shore Drive the road will end and lead on to an old dirt road winding through the woods. There you will find a gem. This 3000 sq ft home has massive rooms to enjoy your indoor living experience. Luxurious wall to wall carpet envelops you as you enter. You will see a sunken library room lined with books to read on those lazy summer days or those cold winter nights. Then you will notice the outside everywhere because the house has glass doors, massive picture windows and glass atrium doors. The outside is part of your living space. The master bedroom has a king size bed with Jacuzzi bathtub. The upstairs bedroom has its own bath with a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding mountains. The family/kitchen area is a large 32 x 24 room dominated by a two story Connecticut bluestone fireplace. Or go downstairs to the screened in porch that is 20 feet from the lake. Enjoy the 200 feet of lake front for swimming, fishing or boating in the summer. Ice fish, snowmobile or ski in the winter months. Enjoy the foliage in the fall. Climb Mt Monadnock. Two classic New England towns, Keene, NH and Brattleboro, Vt are only 20 mins away. We call the house "Lil Bit of Heaven." You will too.

Brattleboro Vermont just 20 minutes away. This retro-town has a lot of off beat night clubs (Mole's Eye) and restaurants to explore. Keene, NH is also only 20 minutes away to the north. This is a more traditional New England town with a wide main street and green in front of a 100' high steeple. Keene State is located downtown, so the area has a college flavor to it with coffee shops and lively night spots and sports bars. For golfers Brettwoods has 36 challenging holes . You can go south on a one hour ride and visit the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass. For outside activities, Mt Monadnock is a favorite climb in the area. Cross Country skiing in Northfield is one of the longest ski courses in the country. An hour northwest are some of the biggest downhill ski areas in the region. Snowmobile trails abound in the hills around the house. Antique shops are found all around the area.
