Smythe House is owned and operated by David and Justine Smythe, accommodating hosts who live in an apartment on the ground level of the house; the other half of the ground level is public space for the guests to enjoy; first floor rooms include a foyer, a parlor with a piano, computer/internet nook, kitchen, dining room, deck, and grounds.
Smythe House is adjacent to the preserve, just walking distance from the scenic Hudson River and less than a mile away from town. Built in 1890, this three-story six bedroom Victorian Cottage is newly restored and comfortably furnished with beautiful antiques and eclectic artworks.
