BOONE VACATION CABIN RENTAL DESCRIPTION :

Songbird Cabin is located just outside of Boone in the North Carolina Mountains. If you've longed for a real mountain experience, we have just what you are looking for. Songbird is a 2-bedroom, 1-bath cabin with a large front porch to take in the panoramic views and listen to the birds, a great stone fireplace for cozy evenings, a recreation room with a pool table for family fun, comfortable bedrooms with all linens furnished for a great night's sleep, and a well-equipped kitchen and laundry area to provide all the comforts of home. In addition, Songbird Cabin is conveniently located close to many High Country attractions such as Grandfather Mountain and Tweetsie Railroad. Boone is home of Appalachian State University and the ASU Summer Festival is now underway. Also coming up soon will be the Cove Creek Music Fest with lots of great Bluegrass music.

	Near Ski Beach, Ski Hawksnest, Appalachian Ski Mountain for your ski enjoyment. Tweestie Railroad Theam Park is in Blowing Rock about 40 minutes from Songbird Cabin. Also there are many great dining and shopping opportunities in the area. Also for those who enjoy plays, the Barter Theater; Abingdon, Virginia and the Hayes Performing Arts Center; Blowing Rock, NC are both within an hour or less drive from the cabin.
