This 3 bed, 3 bath rental is located on 13 acres of beautiful rolling mountain property with so much to do you'll spend most of your trip right here. There are ponds, gardens, creeks, springs and mountain hiking trails to explore. It offers a "Farm Stay" experience now with a resident horse, crops and other livestock.
Keep your own horses in our four stall barn and ride into the Park.
We also have fishing, hunting, skiing, wildlife viewing, riding, museums, sightseeing, rafting, tubing, archery, sporting clays and even sky diving close by.
Black and red raspberries and blackberries surround our pasture plus apple, peach, cherry, elderberry and black walnut trees. Our gourmet kitchen: 2 ovens, 6 gas burner cook top, microwave, trash compactor & ice maker fridge make it easy to use our home grown produce.
Our ponds have resident ducks, geese and trout that we let our guests fish for.
We are pet-friendly with an un-finished basement.
This estate is very private and secluded yet we are close to Waynesville and Maggie Valley where there are restaurants and lots more. Only 3 miles from route 40 which takes you to Asheville 30 miles to the east. We are close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Smokey Mountain National Park, Cataloochie Valley (Elk) and the Cherokee Reservation with Harrah’s Casino.
At 3600 ft it's usually cool enough to open the windows, but we have a geothermal heat pump that provides heat and ac when needed. There is a beautiful mountain view from our half-covered wrap around deck where you can relax and barbeque in the shade or the sunshine. Summer nights are spectacular with fireflies competing with the stars.
There is a two-car garage, 13 acres, a barn and a large basement. Inside there is wireless high speed internet, DirecTV and free long distance anywhere in the Continental US.
