This Central Oregon home is situated on over 2/3 of an acre at the foot of the Cascades in Sisters, Oregon. With panoramic views of the Three Sisters, Broken Top, Mt. The Three Sisters Retreat is located just five miles east of Sisters and provides a great location for all of your Central Oregon activities.
Both the Metolius and Dechutes River offer outstanding fly-fishing during the year, which are both about 20 minutes from the home. The Metolius is fully formed from underground springs originating from the base of Black Butte. The Metolius River flows through a beautiful forest of ponderosa pine, cedar, and firs, making fishing here one of the most beautiful spots in the state. The Metolius is open year-round to catch-and-release fly-fishing.
During the winter, Central Oregon offers skiing at both Hoodoo and Mount Bachelor, as well as great snowshoeing and snowmobiling. With 71 runs on over 3600 acres of mountain, Mount Bachelor is home to the largest ski area in the Pacific Northwest. Mount Bachelor usually receives close to 400 inches of snowfall a year, and its snow retention is among the best of any ski area in North America, resulting in a ski season which stretches reliably from November to June, and often even into July. Mount Bachelor also offers summer time mountain biking, sightseeing and hiking. The summer season at Mount Bachelor usually last from July to Labor Day.
The Three Sisters Retreat comfortably sleeps nine (9), with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Use the fully functional and stocked kitchen to eat in, or go out and visit one of the many great restaurants in Sisters or Bend.
