Maplecrest is a wonderful mountain home located in the Upcountry of South Carolina between Lakes Keowee and Jocassee just off the Cherokee Foothills Parkway SC 11. This quaint mountain retreat on 2 secluded acres is less than 1 mile from the boat ramp at Devil's Fork State Park. Easy access to Clemson, Saphire Valley Ski Area or the Chattooga River. The house has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms accommodating up to 8 guests. There is a screen porch and sundeck for relaxation with a front porch overlooking the formal row of maples and well manicured landscaping. Recently renovated the house is full of charm with hand painted murals on many walls and comfortable country furnishings. Bring or rent a boat or you can take a guided tour of the pristine waterfalls. There are also charters available for world class fresh water fishing. Year round activities like kayaking, hiking,whitewater rafting or snow skiing will make your stay a memorable one. Maplecrest is a perfect romantic getaway or family gathering spot. A great place to get away from it all. Lake Jocassee is considered by many to be the crown jewel of the Southern Appalachians
