WELCOME TO THE WELLMAN HOUSE ON NORRIS LAKE
Nestled in a cove on Norris Lake, the Wellman house is the perfect vacation getaway, with lakefront convenience and comfort. Built in 2001, it offers an ideal setting for quality time with family and friends.
Whether wanting to be on the lake or golf course, guests can enjoy a well-maintained home that’s cozy and colorful. The house sleeps 12 comfortably, with two living areas, an ample kitchen and dining room.
Guests of the Wellman House have access to a floating boatslip. The dock is just 200 feet from the house. A paved walk connects the house to the dock. Since the cove is at the end of a no-wake zone, it offers a quieter place to enjoy the water and sun from the dock or swim platform.

Deerfield Resort is a gated-community, located on 1000 secluded acres, along the north-eastern shore of Norris Lake. True to its name, the resort is home to many deer in a woodland setting, located across the water from Chuck Swan Wildlife Sanctuary.
Just north of Knoxville, Tenn., Deerfield is an easy drive from most Midwestern and Southern states, located approximately 20 miles east of I-75, exit 134. We're located within minutes of three full-service marinas: Springs Dock, Shanghai Resort and Sugarhollow, which offer boat rentals, fuel, restaurants and supplies.
You'll be greeted upon arrival by a Cedar Ridge representative and escorted to the house. During your stay, if you should have questions or concerns, you are welcome to contact Cedar Ridge Rental. As an extra bonus, they prepare delicious, homemade meals and desserts that can be ordered and purchased during your stay!
THE IDEAL LAKE
There are many great lakes among the Cumberland Mountains and the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, but Norris is in a class of its own! The water offers excellent recreation for boating and water sports, as well as fishing.
