Located in the quiet historical town of Russellville in Logan County, our home is a pre-civil war era Italianate style Victorian home also known as the Wallace-Byrne Home. Once a Stage Coach Inn and Tavern in the early 1800's, this home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Our 5 bedroom house rental in Nashville is suitable for up to 17 guests. It has a king-size bed, two queen-size beds and four double beds. Also, there are couches, air mattresses and sleeping bags. The bathrooms have all the amenities and facilities needed for your convenience. The kitchen has been updated with modern gourmet style and comes fully stocked with imperishable food stock exclusively for your use. This Nashville vacation rental home features many period antiques and stain glass windows. The formal parlor room has a 1880's pump organ and the library offers hundreds of books on history. Eight fireplaces keep this home warm on cooler days and you can enjoy TV, VCR, DVD player, stereo and board games while staying indoors. Its yard with an original hand water well pump, quality patio furniture and a private gas barbecue grill is great for outdoor enjoyment. Since our Nashville home rental is close to the Kentucky School of Skydiving, you can take some lessons in skydiving. Golf courses are available nearby while the Lake Malone with excellent water sport opportunities is just 20 minutes away. This Nashville vacation house also lies within walking distance to several upscale restaurants, souvenir shops, churches and many historically significant homes in the Russellville Historic District.

Skydiving headquarters of the Tennessee/Kentucky School of Skydiving located at the Russellville Logan County Airport which services the greater Nashville/Russellville/Clarksville area. Come learn to skydive. Most everyone in the area golf's or are active outdoors (2 golf courses in town). Lake Malone is just 20 minutes North with boating, skiing, fishing, and swimming. There are numerous caves in the area - including Mammouth Caves National Park (one hour north-east). Today Russellville is a relatively small and quiet town, but it is relatively close to many area of interest. We are located just 29 miles west of Bowling Green, KY home of Western Kentucky University (WKU) and the GM’s Corvette plant and museum (factory tours most days) among other attractions. 34 miles SW to Clarksville, TN and the large compound making up Fort Campbell. Our home is about 1 hour north of Nashville (54 miles).
From Nashville International Airport (BNA) drive west toward Nashville on I-40 and take Briley Parkway North (TN155) (past Opryland) to I-24 (North Westerly). Proceed until US 431 north through Springfield, TN (left at light still on US431) and north to Kentucky. Russellville is about 15 miles north of the TN/KY line in corn farmland and tabacco fields. In Russellville turn right at the light on 9th Street (east) and go about 1/4 mile to Main Street. Turn right on Main St. Our home is on the corner of 9th and Main (south east corner). Welcome! |
