This cabin is rustic on the outside but completely remodeled inside with a terrific fully equipped large kitchen, 2 bedrooms (king, full), bath with shower, covered deck with river view. There is a mile long rocky/sandy beach just out the front door that is great for walking the dog and the kids will love exploring.
Sky Beach Cabin will appeal to outdoor enthusiasts due to its proximity to Mt Baker Snoqualmie Ntl Forest and three wilderness areas that offer many seasonal recreational opportunities. The Skykomish River is famous for class II-V whitewater rafting/kyaking, and nearby Stevens Pass is a popular ski area. This area is not "touristy" yet attracts thousands of visitors due to the rugged beauty of the Cascade Mountains. There are dozens of hiking trails with something for everyone - easy family walks, waterfalls, lakes, historic lookout towers, old growth forests, and even technical rock climbs. The Skykomish with it's crystal clear water is a state Scenic River with seasonal trout and steelhead fishing. The cabin is just off the scenic Cascade Loop Highway.
This is also a great place to just relax. The 3-season covered deck provides "front row seats" to watch the river flow by.
