The Cedars guest house is located in a grove of cedars on Lily Point, at the south east tip of Point Roberts. Lily Point is an undeveloped area of approximately 100 acres that contains some really beautiful hiking trails and an amazing mountain bike trail. You can follow these trails to your own private mile of Pacific beach. The quiet and tranquility will delight and envelope you. Yet, you are close to so many diversions. The golf course was rated one of the 10 best new courses in the USA or maybe just a delicious latte and desert at Café Cabana. For hard core local colour, there is the reef tavern and Brewsters offers great dinners and one of the best deals on a Sunday brunch in the Pacific northwest. The guest house is pure charm with antique windows, hardwood floors and lots of wood paneling. Of course, one of the best things about Point Roberts is the swimming. The Point Roberts boundary bay beach is a sand bar that stretches out about one mile into the bay. When the tides are right, the water is 80 to 90 degrees. Yes that is right, fresh Pacific ocean water at 80 to 90 degrees. It does not get any more healthy than that.
