With loving care, several abandoned family houses in the villages of Tochni, Kalavasos and Psematismenos, were thoroughly renovated to provide comfort without sacrificing their original, rustic character and are all licensed by the Cyprus Tourism Organization.Cyprus Villages offers you a choice of studios, 1 and 2-bedroom apartments with self-catering facilities in a well-equipped kitchenette, and central heating/air-conditioning and access to shared pool. Notice the thick walls, small windows, stone or wooden staircases so typical of our island’s architecture of yesteryear. On your veranda, in your patio or garden you can relax with a drink or a book any time of the day. In every village a swimming pool with sun beds is always within easy reach and reserved for our guests.

The owners. John & Regina Xydas, the owners and some of the staff live on the premises and are ready to assist their clients at all times. John,(Cypriot) and Regina (French), met in the U.K whilst studying Hotel management. In 1979 after getting married they returned to Cyprus. Regina abandoned her career to bring up the family and John for almost thirty years was a general manager of some of the leading five and four star hotels in Cyprus. He also held various honorary posts in professional and trade Associations, like the Chamber of Commerce, The Hotel Association etc. In 2005 they started their own business. John and Regina are well known in Cyprus and their name has always been associated with high professionalism, honesty, integrity and hard work.

Evalena house is situated on the outskirts of Tochni village. It is a strikingly attractive complex of 4 newly built apartments in traditional local style and furnished with comfort in mind, it has been decorated with charming Cypriot antiques and artefacts. The two bedroom apartment on the ground floor has very large patio with dining table and chairs and you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the fruit tree orchard and garden which leads to the exclusive shared swimming pool. On the first floor the one bedroom apartments with spacious balcony have stunning views of the village countryside and on the ground floor the spacious two bedroom apartments are ideal for families with young kids or 2 couples. The complex has private parking just outside the house.
