Kayaks can be rented easily from locations mentioned in our “Welcome to our Home”book as well as other attractions, ferry & bus schedules, shops, hikes and of course the magnificentAcadia National Park’s Schoodic Peninsula whose entrance is a mile from our house wheresightseeing, hiking, biking, picnicking are all there for your enjoyment. The great room / kitchen area separate the master suite from the two additional guest rooms. The kitchen has tile flooring with a combination of tile and tumbled marble for the counters and backsplashes. There is a center island / eating bar accented with cultured stone. we have added the Kid's Zone to help you explore some of the activities that are available to you. On Main Street in Downtown Rutherfordton, only minutes away, you can spend an hour or the entire day with the family. We are located in the peaceful community of Rémigny. Come enjoy the relaxation and peace or participate in numerous activities of the season. In 1935, settlers arrived from the Joliette region. They were families who sought a better life while a severe economic crisis was raging. In their new home, the courageous pioneers had to work hard to develop the village we enjoy today. In 1938, the pioneers of Rémigny built the parsonage next to the future site of their church, Saint-Urbain Rémigny.The Catholic Church of Saint-Urbain Rémigny was built between 1941 and 1946 by the parishioners. It was built with pink granite in the style Dom Bello, no columns inside, with a polygonal arc. The concept of the church was created by Adrian Dufresne. This is the only church in the region of Abitibi-Témiscamingue with these characteristics. The stained glass windows adorn the interior are a gift from the residents of Joliette.

Primary access to the first floor unit is through a door off of the front porch. The top two stories, meanwhile, are primarily accessed by a staircase from the back of the lot (the first story unit has no access from the rear of the building) as well as by a door off the front porch. From the interior, both units are completely separate.
