Cancellation Policy:
CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations or changes to your reservation must be made in writing by letter or email.
Cancellations will be subject to the following fee schedule:
Over 60 days prior to your arrival date: $100;
31-60 days: 50% of your total rent (excluding security deposit);
30 days or less prior to your arrival date: 100% of your total rent (excluding security deposit).
If your cancelled dates are rebooked to another guest, 100% of your rental monies will be returned to you for the nights rebooked, less a $100 cancellation fee. With that in mind, we would be glad to consider your referral for someone to rent your space.
Changes to your existing reservation:
1. If the change results in a reduction of your overall rent, then the above cancellation penalties apply.
2. If the change results in an increase in your overall rent, then no fees apply.
3. If the change results in no change in your overall rent, then a $50 change fee applies.
INSURANCE - ACCIDENTS, INJURIES, FORCE MAJEURE
We highly recommend guests take out vacation travel insurance to cover cancellations, injuries, medi-vac helicopter transport, etc. Guests are reminded you are renting a cabin in the High Sierra, and weather conditions are known to be extreme, resulting in amongst other things, dangerous driving conditions, road closures, and system-wide power failures. Likewise, winter guests who ski and/or snowboard and summer guests who water ski, kayak, hike and/or mountain bike acknowledge they are engaging in a dangerous sport where injuries are not uncommon. We do not refund for nights forfeited for any of the above-mentioned conditions or any other unforeseen incident due to force majeure.
