Payment Policy:
Pricing is in U.S. dollars (USD). We accept most major credit cards.
Rates are based on up to four guests, and on a typical stay of 5-7 nites; addl. guests are $200 per stay for adults, and half price for children under eighteen. [Note the upcharge for addl. guests is per stay, not per night.]
FESTIVAL & HOLIDAY WEEKS:
Most Festivals & Holidays: $695/nite;
Bluegrass, Film, and Blues&Brews Festivals: $895/nite;
Winter Holidays (Xmas & NYear's Holidays): $1195/nite.

Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel more than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival, you'll receive a full credit for any amounts received, less only a $100 rescheduling fee, towards a future stay of 5 nites or more, as long as we own the property, with no blackouts or expiration.
If you must cancel less than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival, we'll make every effort to rebook your dates. If we can, you'll receive full credit per above. If we cannot, no refund or credit is issued, and your understanding and cooperation is very much appreciated.

Rules:
No smoking in the house or on the decks or in the outdoor pavillion. That being said, smokers are more than welcome to smoke on the grounds, and we ask only that you carefully dispose of smoking materials to prevent forest fires.
No pets. We're animal lovers too, but we can't maintain our properties at the level we do if we were dealing with people's pet issues.
Horse Lovers: Up to two horses are permitted, provided you let us know in advance. A modest fee applies for boarding horses during your stay.
Additional Guests: No additional guests beyond your original guest group are permitted unless they are registered with us in advance, and additional fees paid per our rate schedule. We reserve the right to limit total guests on the property, so best to check with us before inviting additional guests to join you at the Retreat. All of your guests must agree to our no smoking, no pets policies. Again, your understanding and cooperation are very much appreciated.

U.S. vacation rentals do not typically include daily maid service, room service, etc., which are more in the spirit of a hotel stay. Each property is carefully prepared by our housekeepers prior to your arrival. For stays of more than one week, a mid-stay housekeeping visit is typically included at no extra charge.
Throughout your stay, more towels or linens are available anytime, no charge. Note also that the Retreat features private laundry facilities, which makes travelling quite a bit easier and more convenient.
