Ka'a'awa Hale: An Ideal Home for Family Vacation

Payment Policy: Initial reservation deposit is 40% of total room rate for reservation. The balance is due 45 days prior to arrival date. A security deposit will be included in the balance due. The security damage deposit is to protect the owner from negligence or loss. The deposit will be returned within 14 days of departure, unless deductions are to be made. Deductions can be made for the following reasons: to repair or replace anything that is damaged or lost; to change locks or replace lost keys or to clean excessive dirt, stained flooring, appliances, etc. An itemized list along with any receipts for work done will be provided. A departure cleaning fee will be applied along with tax at the rate of 12.9166%

Cancellation Policy: Any cancellation made with a minimum of 30 days prior to notice will be refunded, less $50.00 and a one night rental with tax fee. Unless we are able to fill the original booking dates, the entire deposit will be forfeited if cancellations notice is less than 30 days from scheduled arrival date. Cancellations within 10 days of arrival shall forfeit all payment, unless we are able to fill the original reservations. If this is a possibly, we strongly urge you to consider traveler's insurance.

Rules: 1. GUESTS WILL BE FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THEIR GUEST, CHILDREN AND THEIR CHILDREN’S ACTIONS AT ALL TIMES; 2. IT IS OUR INTENT TO PROVIDE A SAFE ENJOYABLE PLACE TO STAY WHILE YOU ARE VISITING, PLEASE USE COMMON SENSE AND PLAY SAFELY. 3. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING OR PETS IN THE HOUSE. 4. MAKE SURE ALL ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES; LIGHTS ARE TURNED OFF WHEN YOU LEAVE. 5. TURN A/C OFF WHEN NOT PRESENT IN UNIT! WHILE A/C IS ON PLEASE LEAVE WINDOWS AND DOORS TO BEDROOM CLOSED. A/C IS NOT EQUIPPED TO COOL THE WHOLE LIVING QUARTERS, JUST THE BEDROOM! THIS WILL PROLONG THE LIFE OF THE A/C UNIT FOR EVERYONE TO ENJOY. 6. TAKE TRASH OUT DAILY FROM UNIT TO ENSURE YOUR TRASH IS COLLECTED FOR TRASH PICK-UP DAYS. PLEASE PLACE TRASH IN GREY TRASH CAN OUTSIDE OF UNIT. 7. TO AVOID CLOGGING, PLEASE DO NOT FLUSH ANY FEMININE TOILETRIES DOWN THE TOILET BOWL. USE THE WASTE CONTAINER PROVIDED. 8. ALL OAHU CALLS ARE FREE. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR LONG DISTANCE AND OUTER ISLAND CALLS. YOU NEED TO USE A PREPAID PHONE CARD FOR LONG DISTANCE CALLS. 9. PLEASE SUPPLY YOUR OWN LAUNDRY DETERGENT. 10. EXTRA PERSON FEE OF $25./NIGHT/PERSON THAT IS NOT ON CONTRACT. 11. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF THIS HOME AS YOU WOULD YOUR OWN. MAHALO! ENJOY THE SUNRISES!
