This one-level beach front luxury home rests on a high dune, offering fantastic ocean views from the living areas and master suite. Cool watery colors carry throughout the house, offering a sense of serenity and peace. Cathedral ceilings, plantation shutters, white painted furniture, and the open floor plan contribute to the comfortable ambiance. The living-dining-kitchen area is bright and airy, completely open to the views, and outfitted with lovely and comfortable furnishings. An open galley kitchen with granite counters and top quality appliances make meal preparation a joy. The large flat screen TV and gas fireplace (for our winter guests) can be enjoyed from every vantage point in the room. The master bedroom has a king bed, a day bed, cable TV with DVD player, and a desk with computer, printer, and wireless Internet. Doors open onto the oceanfront deck, and a private bath with soaking tub completes the suite. The junior master bedroom has a queen bed, vaulted ceilings, cable TV/DVD, and a private bath. The third bedroom, perfect for children but comfortable for adults as well, sleeps three in a bunk bed with pull-out trundle. The play area has toys, games and a TV/DVD. A full bath is located just outside the bunk room. The oceanfront deck is a destination in itself. A lockable gate insures that children and pets are secured. A short private walkover takes you over the dune to the beach below. At the end of a walkover is a built in bench, the perfect spot for early morning coffee, or late night moon gazing. The deck is furnished with a large round table with umbrella, 4 lounge chairs, and several other comfortable chairs. You may want to stay there all day! You will love our beach! It is wide, sandy, and car free! You can walk for miles without being disturbed...or you can sit all day with your toes in the water thinking of nothing more serious than the beach book in your hands! When you do decide to leave the premises to explore, you have numerous opportunities for adventure. Just a couple of miles from the house, you can spend the day at the Serenata Beach Club with their several pools, work out facility, and great dining opportunities; a couple of miles in the opposite direction will take you to a gorgeous nature preserve, where you can walk or bike among many species of shore and march birds...and learn so much at tht Education Center! If you want to golf, we have about 10 courses within a twenty minute drive, so take your pick! If you want to eat, choose from Caps, The Reef, Aunt Kates, Over the Ditch, or Benitos, all within a 10 minute drive...with dozens more in St. Augustine or Ponte Vedra. And, if you have not been to St. Augustine before, you will love it. Be sure to stop at the Visitor Center and pick up maps tne brochures!
