About Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta is one of the most popular destinations for travelers visiting Mexico. Located on the Pacific ocean’s Bahia de Banderas, this city used to be a flourishing Mexican village before becoming the tourist destination it is today. With a population of around 250,000, half of the workforce is dedicated to tourist related industries such as hotels, restaurants, personal service and transportation. This city was once called “la ciudad mas amigable del mundo” (the friendliest city of the world), and today that name still stands. There is plenty to do while visiting this wonderful town from beach activities to town exploration. If looking to hang out by the beach, check out the sailing, fishing and snorkeling at Bandera Bay. Attendees can take part in making skeleton dolls and flower arrangements and ends the night with a big bonfire and dance.

Puerto Vallarta is also big on arts and culture, with art galleries and theatre shows opening up regularly. The nightlife here is sizzling, and it will be easy to find a dance club, lounge or bar that is open late. The beaches here are lovely, with crystal blue ocean waters, mild waves and sugar white sand. Since this is a popular tourist destination, it has also been targeted as a prime location for spring breakers around the month of March. So for travelers looking to have a great time and enjoy the bustling nightlife or looking to take it easy, Puerto Vallarta is one to put on your list.
