If you just need a room or two The Ranch Cabin is a great way to kick up your heels and enjoy the old west. It is away from the main ranch house and surrounded with trees. This two bedroom cabin is decorated very western with a beautiful wood floor. The living room and kitchen and dining area are very nice and comfortable for families, smaller groups, or couples. There are two bedrooms with a Queen Bed in each room, plus a loft. This two bedroom cabin is very nice, and will please any visitors. Quiet, secluded, and private.

Next door to the Watermelon House is Gramma’s House, perfect for smaller groups. It has three bedrooms which sleep 12. There is a good-sized living room, and three baths. The kitchen has microwave, range, dishwasher, as well as dishes, pots and pans. Beds are made up and towels provided. Really big groups can rent both houses and get together in the joined back yard. We are neither a fancy bed and breakfast nor an impersonal motel, just a clean comfortable, friendly environment where your group can be alone, all together in one place, and not spend a lot of money. We have provided phones, television, and laundry facilities. Our houses are located just a mile from the city center. Both are smoke free, and please no pets inside. Children are welcome.

The Watermelon House is a two-story house. The whole house has eight bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths, and sleeps 16 to 30. There are four bedrooms (four double beds, seven single beds) plus couches and beds in the large lounge area, and 2 1/2 baths. Beds are made up and towels provided. The kitchen has a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, utensils, pots and pans. (sorry no dishwasher) Besides the dining room, there is a large deck with tables and chairs. The lower level adds four more bedrooms, (four double beds, 2 singles) two baths, another small kitchen, and a covered patio.

The 'Monticello Flour Mill'was built in 1933 & produced flour for the community until the mid 1960's.
