One can choose the terrain for skiing in accordance to their performance level - beginners, intermediate or advanced. Situated amidst the stunningly breathtaking Tahoe National Forest, Alpine Meadows offers more than 2,000 acres of skiable terrain and gives a new meaning to winter recreation. The Alpine Meadows Ski Resort is open from November to May and offers opportunities for skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and winter hiking on the mountains.
The resort is a complete adventure zone and you can explore both the wild and mild side of nature. You can glide up the mountains for an adrenal rush or simply seek inspiration in the panoramic landscape that sprawls 2,000 acres of diverse terrain on two mountains, which is rated 25% easier, 40% more difficult and 35% more expert. In the winters the Alpine Meadows is open for skiing between 8:30 AM and 4PM daily; during the spring, skiing is allowed between 8:30AM and 2:00PM |
