| Located at Anna Maria Village, Anna Maria
Island Historical Museum offers a peek into the rich history
of the island. The museum is home to some original artwork
by Joan Voyles also. Island sits at the tip of an island
chain, which was discovered more than five centuries back
and this museum is home to some of the most fascinating
details of those eras. |

| De Soto National Memorial |
| Trace the 500 years of history of the Island
and about the Spanish colonial history as well at the
memorial. De Soto National Memorial brings forth loads of
information on Hernando De Soto, the Spanish explorer and
his 16th century expedition too. To get a sense of the era, you can even watch a film on it, muse through different displays or even enjoy a stroll on the beautiful nature trail through the mangroves. The admission to the park is free and the visitor center is open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM. |

| Mote Marine Aquarium |
| Mote Marine Aquarium offers the visitors a
close look at the endangered manatee as well as a glimpse of
sea life. Mote Marine Family Program – Fish takes place from
9 AM – 11 AM, where people are invited to come and
experience unique hands-on learning about the friends of the
sea. Here you can discover the anatomy of a fish, and spend
the day exploring nature. General admission tickets include access to Mote Aquarium, the Ann and Alfred Goldstein Marine Mammal Center and the Immersion Cinema. Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for children 4-12. Admission is free for children 3 and under. |

| Anna Maria Island Butterfly Park is one of
the most famous attractions here and offers a safe habitat
to as many as 26 varieties of butterflies. Some of the most commonly found butterflies species are swallowtails, sulphurs and skippers. |
