    Demarest Lloyd State Park
    It is one of the best-kept secrets in Massachusetts. You can spot herons, ospreys, terns, hawks and egrets. The 1,800-foot saltwater beach is covered by rambling hills and offers grassy picnic sites. Located on the southern coast of Massachusetts, the park is a haven for recreational activities. Go hiking, running, and bird watching or play tennis and volleyball.
     
    Fall River Heritage State Park
    This 8.5-acre park situated at a spectacular location overlooking home of the World War II battleship known as Battleship Cove. Embracing the shore of the Taunton River, the park offers a variety of programs ranging from craft festivals and public sailing events to summer concerts. It also features benches, groves of trees, boardwalk and an antique carousel.
     
    Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve
    Located on the south shore of Cape Cod, it encompasses around 2,700 of marshlands, barrier beaches and open waters. Take in the scenic vistas hiking and walking through the trails. Appreciate the fabulous scenic views or go boating, fishing, canoeing and camping.
     
    Visitor Center
    Discover a wide variety of exhibits about coastal ecology and watersheds at this center. Situated in the mansion of the old Sargent Estate, it features various educational and public programs including workshops on adult education classes, summer interpretive programs, coastal decision maker workshops and public events. It is open from Monday through Friday between 10am to 4pm and on Saturdays in July and August.
     
    Aquinnah Cliffs and Beach
    Aquinnah Cliffs and Beach, now designated as a national landmark, is famous for its beautiful, picturesque views at the top of 150-foot cliffs. Admire the majestic cliffs, rising steeply against the sky line. Stroll along the shoreline or admire the colorful cliffs from a distance.
