| Boca Raton Museum of Art in Mizner Park has
permanent collections of 19th and 20th century European art
and modern and contemporary art from America and Europe. The
museum also houses pre-Columbian and African tribal art, in
addition to its two sculpture gardens. You can spend several
delightful hours here if you are an art lover. The museum is
open from 10 AM to 5 PM on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Wednesdays have extended hours, unless there is a special
event, from 10 AM to 9 PM. On Saturdays and Sundays the museum is
open from 12 PM to 5 PM and is closed on Mondays and on most of the holidays. Admission to the museum is free for children 12 and
under, $8 for adults, $6 for seniors 65 and older and $4 for
students with a student ID. |

key roles played by colorful personalities in the evolution
of the community. Glance at the life and works of the
railroad magnate and developer Henry Morrison Flagler; the
pioneering Thomas Moore Rickards; the heroic Barefoot
Mailman and the visionary architect Addison Mizner. The
mission of this society is to collect, preserve and present
information and artifacts relevant to the past and the
ever-evolving history of Boca Raton. It also aims at
maintaining a visible role in education and advocacy of
historic preservation. The museum is open from Monday
through Friday, 10 AM to 4 PM. |

| The International Museum of Cartoon Art is
America's first and only international museum devoted to the
collection, preservation, exhibition and study of a
world-class repository of original works of cartoon art.
Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, $4 for students,
$3 for children 6-12 and free for children 5 and under. The
museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 12-6
PM. |
