| The Cocohatchee Nature Center, located within an 800-acre estuary in north Naples, offers a guided tour through the pristine mangrove estuary of the Cocohatchee River. The estuary is home to vast expanses of endless trails and hidden coves teeming with wildlife. You will also come across a variety of bird species in their natural habitat including herons, ibis, osprey, the snowy egret and pelicans. The sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico are about two-mile paddle along the river and on route you can see the dolphins playing. The center also offers unbelievably beautiful sunset cruises and you can enjoy the unique experience of witnessing a wide array of colors fill the sky. |

| Located in Ft. Myers Beach, this 712-acre area features canals and tidal lagoons dotted with mangroves. A nature’s paradise, the park not only supports an array of fish and other aquatic animals but also provides for recreational activities, which include boating, fishing, and swimming. You can also indulge in the routine beach activities including hiking and shelling. The park is also a natural habitat for wildlife. You can get a glimpse of woodpeckers, hawks, owls, warblers, osprey, marsh rabbits, raccoons, bottle-nosed dolphins and the endangered West Indian manatee. |
