Take the shuttle from Cape Canaveral and transport into the thrilling world of space adventure at the Kennedy Space Center. The Apollo/Saturn V Center, IMAX theaters with five-story screens, the Astronaut Hall of Fame that simulates the experience of space flight and the Space Shuttle Explorer are just a few of the main attractions. Adults may enjoy learning more about the Astronaut Training Experience at the center.
Standard admission to the Kennedy Space Center is $31 for adults and $21 for children ages 3-11. With this admission price, you can tour the center, see IMAX® movies and enjoy the exhibits and shows. For maximum access, which includes the Astronaut Hall of Fame and the interactive space flight simulators, adults and children will need to pay an additional $7 per person.
If you are interested in the bus tour of the space center, it lasts about 2 ½ hours, tours begin at 10 AM and run every 15 minutes until the last tour begins at 2:15 PM. The Kennedy Space Center Complex is open year-round, except for Christmas Day and specific launch days. Hours are from 9 AM to 5:30 PM. If only visiting the Astronaut Hall of Fame, it is open from 10 AM to 6:30 PM daily. Adult admission is $17 and for children ages 3-11, admission is $13. |

| The zoo has over 400 animals native to Florida, Latin America and Australia, including alligator, marmoset, jaguar, eagle, river otter and kangaroo. The zoo also features a train ride, beautiful exotic birds in a free-flight aviary, the "Paws-On" interactive learning area and a variety of friendly, domesticated animals. Hours are from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM; though no admissions are allowed after 4:15 PM. Hours may vary on special event days. The zoo is handicapped accessible and offers wheelchair and stroller rentals. Admission prices are $9.95 for adults, $8.95 for seniors age 60 and up, $6.95 for children from 2-12, and free for children under 2. |

| Andretti Thrill Park |
| Located in Melbourne, Florida, south of Cape Canaveral, is Andretti Thrill Park. Park attractions include go-kart tracks, minors pro-golf, bumper boats, a wild-west train, laser tag, a playground, batting cages and a children's area. Entry to Andretti Thrill Park for 4 hours of unlimited attractions is $29.95 per person. Entry fees exclude token operated arcade games and the V-Cage. If you want to visit an individual attraction, each has its own fee. Special ticket packages are available. Hours vary, so call ahead to be sure the park is open. |

| Daytona International Speedway and Daytona USA |
Travel an hour north for a day trip to the Daytona International Speedway, the home of the Daytona 500. The motor sports complex at the speedway boasts the most diverse schedule of racing on the globe and offers 10 major weekends of racing activity. While there, enjoy the Richard Petty Driving Experience, which allows you to go around this track in the care of an instructor.
At Daytona USA, you can compete against other racers in 80% scale stock cars, ride a motion simulator that places you behind the wheel in a virtual Daytona 500 race and take a lap on Toyota Tundra's Thunder Road. Inside the Pepsi IMAX Theatre, "NASCAR 3D: The IMAX Experience" and "Daytona 500: The Movie" race fans get a behind-the-scenes look at the sport. The 16-second Pit Stop Challenge allows visitors the opportunity to be a pit-crew member in a timed pit stop. |
