| Cape San Blas Lighthouses |
| A picturesque view of the city is best witnessed from Cape San Blas Lighthouses. Cape San Blas protrudes into the furthermost point of the Florida Panhandle and hence was always important for navigators arriving in this area. This resulted in 4 lighthouses built one after the other as the previous ones gave way due to destructive weather conditions. Today the Eglin Air Force Base controls the access to this area where the lighthouses are located. Make sure you get in touch with them to seek prior permission before visiting the area. |
