| The Clearwater Marine Aquarium, a non-profit working rescue and rehabilitation facility, features live and model displays of area marine life, including dolphins, and sea turtles. The museum’s hours are 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. On Saturday, the hours are 9 AM to 4 PM and on Sunday the museum is open from 11 AM to 4 PM. Admission is $9 for adults and $6.50 for children ages 3-12. |

| Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary, one of the United States’ largest wild bird rehabilitation centers at Indian Shores, is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of indigenous wild birds. Tours are given every Wednesday and the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sunday of every month at 2 PM. |

| Lowry Park Zoo |
| Lowry Park Zoo, open 7 days a week except for Thanksgiving and Christmas, from 9:30 AM to 5 PM. The zoo has 56 acres of habitat with 8 main exhibit areas, including the Wallaroo Station Children’s Zoo and its newest exhibit, Safari Africa. Zoo passes for a 1-day visit are $14.95 for adults, $13.95 for seniors 60 and up, $10.50 for children 3-11 and free for children 2 and under. Zoo bands are available for the rides in the zoo. The cost is $18 per band, or tickets can be purchased separately for each ride. |

| For adults who remember the yesteryear of the Florida vacation experience, Weeki Wachee Springs offers an old fashioned ‘50s style tourist attraction featuring mermaids swimming in a natural spring. Or, the kids might prefer to visit Buccaneer Bay, the only spring-fed water park in the state of Florida, where visitors enjoy constant 72º F of 99% pure spring water. Daily admission is $21.95 for adults and $15.95 for children 3-11. There is a $3 parking charge. April through August Weeki Wachee Springs is open from 10 AM to 4 PM. |

| Salvador Dali Museum |
If you want to see artwork was not limited to a particular style or media and reveals a constantly growing and evolving artist, visit the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg. Docents provide 6 regular public tours through the museum each day. The 1-hour tours are free of charge. While each tour features selections from the permanent collection and highlights from Dali’s life, subject matter may range from mathematics to his Spanish and Catalan cultures. The museum is in the process of developing a free 30-45 minute audio tour for the visually impaired.
The museum’s regular hours are Monday – Saturday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Thursdays 9:30 AM to 8 PM and Sundays from 12 PM to 5:30 PM. Summer hours begin in June and continue through August. At that time the museum extends its Thursday and Friday night hours to 8 PM and offers a special admission price of $5 after 5 PM. Remember, though, that the museum is closed the 1st and 4th Friday of each month during the summer. General admission is $14 per person. A discounted price is given to senior citizens, military and police at $12 per person. Students 10 years and up, with ID for those 18 and above, is $9. Children ages 5 to 9 are $3.50 and children 4 and under are free. |

| The Florida Holocaust Memorial Museum in Tampa Bay offers permanent, short term, and traveling exhibits that fulfill the museum’s twofold mission to honor the memory of those who suffered or died in the Holocaust and to educate future generations to prevent such genocide. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult to visit this museum. |

| Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art presents the works of Abraham Rattner and Allen Leepa, and provides gallery space for special exhibitions and student exhibitions. The museum is open from 10 AM to 5 PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. On Thursday the museum offers extended hours from 10 AM to 9 PM. On Sundays, the museum is open from 1 – 5 PM. The museum is closed on Mondays. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and free for children and students with a student ID. |
