    Cornell Museum of Art
    If you are a culture buff, visit Cornell Museum of Art located at the Old School Square Cultural Arts Center at Delray Beach. This nationally recognized historic preservation project acts as a center for arts and culture for the community. Old School Square houses the Cornell Museum of Art and History and the Crest Theatre, as well as an outdoor entertainment pavilion. It is the centerpiece of the historic downtown shopping district.

    The Milagro Center, another focal point for the arts and for cultural activity in Delray Beach, offers a classical concert series and a gallery for local artists’ work.
     
    Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens
    For an international cultural experience, visit the beautiful Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens. The Museum hosts regular special events that showcase Japanese culture. Four major festivals draw multitudes to the Morikami throughout the year. The several Japanese-style gardens, a tea-house where tea ceremonies are regularly performed and exhibitions featuring Japanese art and sculpture give the visitor plenty of insight into Japanese culture.
     
    Cason Cottage Museum
    History lovers may want to visit Cason Cottage Museum, one of the oldest houses in the town. The museum is open to the public and offers a glimpse of life during Delray's pioneer days. Or, take a narrated lunchtime ride on the Ramblin’ Rose Riverboat as you cruise along the Intra-coastal Waterway. Riverboat tours are offered every Wednesday, Friday Saturday.
     
    Wakodahatchee Wetlands
    Eco-tourists of all ages will want to visit the several nature facilities located in the Delray Beach area. Visit Wakodahatchee Wetlands, where an abundant variety of wildlife, including turtles, frogs, alligators and more than 140 species of birds, can be found in the various wetland zones at the facility.
     
    Sandoway House Nature Center
    See Sandoway House Nature Center, located in an historic 1936 beachfront home, to better understand the workings of the area’s ecosystems through the center’s exhibits and activities.
     
    Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge
    Head out from the west of Delray Beach to Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, where you can ride airboats. Do lots of alligator watching here, as you learn more about the native flora and fauna.
