The Lovers key State Park is a real recreational playground and offers vacationers the chance to experience nature at its best. The beach beckons you to enjoy beach activities such as shelling, sunbathing, windsurfing, sailing, and swimming. Only the middle part of the beach has no facilities for visitors and lies untouched and pristine in its true beauty.
Vacationers can also explore the waterways and estuaries on kayaks, canoe through mangrove canopies and oak lined waterways; and enjoy boating from the boat ramp which offers direct access to the Gulf of Mexico as well as the Estero Bay. The more adventurous can hike or bike through the nature trails twisting and turning their way through the lushly vegetated inland and observe birds and wildlife. You can also bring your dog along for a hike, but the dog must be on a leash and it won’t be allowed on the beach. |
