| Friday Night Flicks |
| Venture to the City of Fort Walton Beach, which sponsors an outdoor summer film series at the Fort Walton Landing each Friday, July through August. Showtime is 8:30 PM and admission is free. |

| Festival of Glass |
| This international bead and jewelry show features demonstrations from an Italian master bead maker. Beadmaking, beadwork and jewelry making classes are available during the four-day event. Held at the NW Florida Fairgrounds in late May, the festival is a 4-day event. |

| Sprint Billy Bowlegs Pirate Festival and Torchlight Parade |
| The 4-day festival begins at 3 PM on a Friday in early June at the Fort Walton Beach Landing. Food vendors, an arts and crafts fair, music and entertainment will be available. At 8:30 PM, there will be fireworks display. A Treasure Hunt occurs throughout the festival. On Saturday, from 10 AM to 7 PM, the Billy Bowlegs Armada will land between 3 and 3:30 PM. A parade will roll north on Eglin Parkway from 2nd Street in Fort Walton Beach beginning at 8 PM on Monday night. |

| The Seabreeze Jazz Festival Weekend |
| The Seabreeze Jazz Festival Weekend begins on a Friday in late April, between 5 – 7 PM at Chan's Wine World in Destin, across from Destin Commons. The event features an exclusive Wine Walk-About with some of the top wine makers in the world. Enjoy a jazz concert while tasting over 100 wines and great food. |

| Musical Echoes |
| Held at the end of April, the annual Musical Echoes festival features music and dance performances by Native American artists. Seminars on flute making and playing and an outdoor market with Native American art, beadwork, clothing and more will also be available. |

| Fort Walton Beach Independence Day Celebration |
| Held at the Fort Walton Beach Landing the annual celebration features live music, entertainment and children's activities. Fireworks begin at 8:30 PM. |

| Held at the end of July, the Sons of Italy sponsor this event at the Emerald Coast Conference Center on Okaloosa Island. Enjoy live entertainment and authentic Italian food, arts and crafts. |

| Fort Walton Beach Dog Daze |
| Taking place at the end of September, Dog Daze is an annual event held at the Fort Walton Beach Landing. See doggie square dancers, field events, kid's activities, specialty vendors, demonstrations and more. Socialized dogs are welcomed; however, all dogs must be kept on a non-retractable leash and have proof of rabies vaccination. The admission fee is $2 per dog. |

| Christmas on Main Street |
| Taking place at the beginning of December, Christmas on Main Street invites everyone to join Santa at Magnolia Grill in Fort Walton Beach for a pancake breakfast to benefit the Empty Stocking Fund. Then head to Okaloosa on Ice at The Landing by 11 AM for ice-skating and mini-train rides. Santa arrives by fire truck at 1 PM, followed by caroling and a tree lighting ceremony at 4 PM. A lighted boat parade at starts at 6 PM. |

| Okaloosa On Ice |
| A holiday season event held from mid-November to early January, Okaloosa on Ice is a holiday celebration. Held at the Fort Walton Beach Landing, the event features an ice skating rink, a 30-foot Christmas tree, thousands of twinkling lights and a mini-train ride. |
