| Gabriola Island offers excellent fishing for Chinook and Coho Salmon round the year. In winter and spring, Salmon fishing is done with down riggers while in summer and fall, salmon can be caught with jigging tempts. Underneath fish such as Yellow Eye Rockfish, Ling Cod, Rock Cod, and Sole are caught in season on the reef structure. Licenses are readily available. |
