| Spring and Wine Festival |
| Entertainment and excellent food make March a great month to visit the Island. The Spring Festival takes place includes food tasting, cooking classes, and the widely known St. Patrick’s Day parade in the nearby city of Savannah. The wine festival is the largest outdoor wine festival along the whole Eastern coast. It takes place at Shelter Cove Community Park, where over 1,500 wines are featured. |

| Native Islander Gullah Festival |
| Hilton Head Island was once home to large plantations, employing hundreds of African American slaves originating from Western Africa. The Gullah Festival commemorates this heritage. The festival takes place from the 1st to the 27th of February. Original art exhibits, inspirational gospel concerts, handmade crafts and energetic barbecues all portray the culture that has survived the bondage of slavery. |

| Concours d'Elegance |
| Held the first weekend in November, the Concours d'Elegance brings tons of cars to the island’s Coastal Discovery Museum. Exotic vintage automobiles are displayed at an exhibition and parade. Driving tours around the island take place, and visitors get a first hand look at cars spanning from the pre-war era to today. Also featured are the vintage American muscle cars. Races, as well as judging, take place with awards given to the respective winners. A car auction occurs during the event, with all proceeds from the auction donated to charity. The festivities culminate with an extravagant concert on the last evening. |
