    Coastal Discovery Museum
    An exhilarating selection of indoor and outdoor exhibitions, gardens and animal displays provide educational entertainment for all ages. The more adventurous can take part in the nighttime stargazing programs to track various meteor showers or take the Loggerhead Turtle tours to follow the hatchlings as they make their way to the sea. The museum offers membership packages beginning at $35 for students. Coastal Discovery Museum is open year-round, from Monday to Saturday, 9 AM - 5 PM, and Sundays from 10 AM to 2 PM.
     
    Telfair Museum of Art
    Marvel at the extensive collection of over 4,500 works of art from various corners of the world including the US, Europe and Asia. The Telfair Museum of Art is open on Sundays from 1 PM to 5 PM, on Mondays from 12 PM to 5 PM and from Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10 AM to 5 PM. The admission fee for adults is $8, for seniors $7 and for children between the ages of 6 and 12, admission is $2. Admission is free for children below the age of 6.
     
    Harbor Town Lighthouse
    Climb up the towering 93-foot lighthouse for a spectacular view of the Calibogue Sound, Daufuskie Island and Hilton Head. Besides marveling at the views from the top, you can also visit the in-house museum. The lighthouse is open daily from 10 AM to 7 PM during the months of February to November, while from December to January it is open from 10 AM to 6 PM. The admission fee for ages 6 or older is $1.50, while it is free for children under the age of 6.
     
    Unique Museums
    Sport enthusiasts will love visiting the Greats of the Game Gallery, which features a diverse and unique collection of art, photography, memorabilia and illustrations from the world of sports. Those with an inclination towards finer pursuits such as art and music are sure to appreciate the Endangered Arts, Inc. gallery that displays a large selection of original glass sculptures, original oils and watercolors, limited edition lithographs, dolphin, whale and sea turtle fine art furniture. These facilities also have wonderful gift shops for visitors.
