| Eisenhower Walk of Honor and Veterans Memorial |
| Situated on the south side of City Hall at Highway 111, The Walk of Honor is a memorial dedicated to the martyrs of America's freedom. Nestled in a 5000 square feet area marked with blooming flowers, shining palms and snaking walkways, rests the Walk of Honor. The Walk of Honor features two 7-feet granite walls with the names of 500 soldiers of Indian Wells armed forces, General Eisenhower’s bronze bust and a perennial fountain. |

| Palm Canyon |
| The 15 miles long, Palm Canyon is one of the grand beauty spots in Western North America. Its native flora and fauna are stunning contrasts to the rocky gorges and barren desert lands beyond. Palm canyon features paved trails for hiking, picnicking near the stream, meditating, exploring or maybe horseback riding. You can go to the Trading Post at Palm Canyon for hiking maps, refreshments, Indian art and artifacts, books, jewelry, pottery, weavings and even conversational cultural folklore. Guided hiking tours can also be arranged. |

| The Living Desert Zoo & Gardens |
| Get acquainted with the unique habitats of the Southern California deserts, as you tour the 1,200-acres of desert reserve, museum, zoo and educational center, by a tram or on foot. Observe and study the variety of plants, insects and wildlife, including bighorn sheep, mountain lions, rattlesnakes, lizards, owls and golden eagles. From September 1 to June 15, the Reserve is open from 9 AM to 5 PM. During summers from June 16 to August 31, it is open from 8 AM to 1:30 PM. The Reserve is closed on 25th December. Admission to the reserve includes $11 for adults, $9 for seniors/military, $6 for children (3-12 years) and free for kids (under 3.). |

| Palm Springs Desert Museum |
| The natural history museum is definitely worth a visit to get a peek into the art, culture and history of the area. Providing on-site trips, exhibitions and programs in archaeology - the mission of this desert museum is to support better understanding of art, natural science and performing arts. Traditional Indian life as it was lived for centuries, has been depicted by tools, baskets and other relics at this museum. You can check out the various visiting exhibits, which are usually excellent way to gain an insight into the history of the area. Plays, lectures and other events are offered at the museum's Annenberg Theater. The museum opens on Tuesday-Wednesday and Friday-Saturday from 10 AM until 5 Pm; on Thursdays it opens from noon until 8 PM and on Sundays from noon until 5 PM. Admission to the museum is $7.50 for adults, $6.50 for seniors (62 and over,) $3.50 for military and children (6-17 years old,) and free for children (under 6.) Entry to the museum is free for all on Thursdays after 4 PM. |

| Palm Springs Air Museum |
| Palm Springs Air Museum contains one of the world's largest collections of flying World War II airplanes. Palm Springs Art Museum's permanent collections include 20th-century modern and contemporary art, Western American and Native American art, Meso-American artifacts, miniatures and video documentaries related to the World War II. The museum is open 7 days a week from 10 AM to 5 PM. It is closed for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas. The admission fee for adults is $10, for seniors above the age of 65 and for students between the age of 13 and 17 it is $8.50, for children between the age of 6 and 12 it is $5 and for children below the age of 6, the admission is free. |
