The other important landmark is the Florida Keys History of Diving Museum, which houses a 300-foot mural painted by the artists David Dunleavy and Guy Harvey depicting the endangered species and the marine wild life. The museum is famous for its vast collection of artifacts, antiques, books, documents, photographs and oral accounts pertaining to diving and the importance of the Keys in this context. The museum is open from Tuesdays through Sundays from 10 AM to 5 PM. The cost of the tickets for adults is $12, for children between the age of 5 and 12 it is $6, for seniors it is $11 and free for children under the age of 5. |
