| Botanical Gardens and Zoos at Living Desert Reserve is an exciting leisure attraction, located about 5.87 miles from La Quinta. From September 1 to June 15, the Reserve is open from 9 AM to 5 PM. During summers from June 16 to August 31, it is open from 8 AM to 1:30 PM. The Reserve is closed on Christmas Day. |

| Palm Springs Air Museum |
| The Palm Springs Air Museum exhibits a vast collection of World War II war planes. Besides the planes it also has on display memorabilia, artifacts, comprehensive graphics and video documentaries related to the World War II. The museum is open 7 days a week, from 10 AM to 5 PM. It is closed for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas. The admission fee for adults is $10, for seniors above the age of 65 and for students between the age of 13 and 17 it is $8.50, for children between the age of 6 and 12 it is $5 and for children below the age of 6, the admission is free. |

| The Agua Caliente Cultural Museum gives you an insight into the cultures and traditions of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians and various other ethnic communities. Discover interesting stories and facts through an array of myriad collections, exhibitions, research and educational programs at the museum. The museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and admission to the museum is free. |
