| Located in the middle of Charlotte Bay, Little Gasparilla Island fishing grounds are abundant in spook and tarpon but these are not the only species that will take bait. Other species you can expect to catch include trout, Spanish mackerel, king mackerel, pompano, permit, tripletail, cobia, flounder, whiting, ladyfish, bluefish, sharks, and sheepshead. Fishing guides and charters are available. A fishing license will be required unless you are below 16, over 65, or a resident of Florida. |

| The clear waters and barrier reefs of Little Gasparilla Island, offer fantastic opportunities for scuba diving and snorkeling. Dive boat charters are available in Placida on the mainland. Gasparilla Island State Park in Boca Grande offers snorkeling. |
