| Don Pedro Island State Park |
Don Pedro Island State Park in Boca Grande is only accessible by boat. It is open throughout the year from 8 AM until sunset. You will have to pay an honor fee of $1 per person. Endangered animals such as the West Indian manatees and gopher tortoises can be spotted.
An angler can catch flounder, redfish, snook, trout, whiting, sheepshead, tarpon, and redfish on the Intracoastal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico. Nature trails give you a chance to see the protected plant species. Pets are not allowed on the beach. In the park, they must be kept on a 6-foot, hand-held leash. |

| Gasparilla Island State Park |
Gasparilla Island State Park is located on the south end of Gasparilla Island and is open from 8 AM until sunset. You can enjoy activities such as fishing, biking, hiking, and picnicking here. The park has 2 picnic areas with tables and restroom facilities. Swimming and snorkeling are popular activities on the Gulf of Mexico.
The park is also home to Boca Grande Lighthouse, the oldest building on Gasparilla Island. The lighthouse is now operated as a museum. The Lighthouse Museum is open from 10 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday, from May to October. November thorough May it is open all seven days of the week. It remains closed on all major holidays. There is a $2 entry fee for each vehicle and a donation of $1 per person is suggested. |

| Located in Port Charlotte, about 17 miles from Little Gasparilla Island, Kidstar Park features a rock climbing mountain and many children’s rides. It is situated on Sun Flea Market. |
