Hot Creek
Your visit to Mammoth Lakes will not be deemed to be complete if you have not been to Hot Creek. Rejuvenate and unwind your mind and body at Hot Creek, as you take a dip in the naturally heated springs over here. Even artificially created tubs are a good choice. You can also enjoy fishing here.

Yosemite National Park
The entrance to the world famous Yosemite National Park is only an hour away from Mammoth Lakes, via Tioga Pass Road, which in itself is a unique engineering wonder of the Eastern Sierra. Here, you can see the spectacular sites of the Park once the pass opens in late spring. Yosemite is a wonderful natural sight with world’s three tallest cascading waterfalls, lush greenery with world’s largest trees, and stunning rock formations.

Mono Lake
Famed for bird watching, Mono Lake is a breeding ground for over 300 species of migrating birds. The 60-sq.mile desert salt lake is a stunning site with awe-inspiring vistas of tufa (limestone deposits from underground springs) formations that will capture the heart of even a most discerned traveler. On your way to the haunted town of Bodie, watch some of the astounding tufa towering from the rough surfaces as you watch some amazing ones at the southern side of lake at South Tufa Area.

Devils Postpile National Monument
You can take the shuttle to see Devils Postpile National Monument, a natural sheer wall of columns 60 feet high formed from volcanic basalt and glacial activity. This too holds itself as a wonderful sight for unique basalt formations.
