Snowboarding
With seven terrain parks (beginner 30%, intermediate 40% and advanced 30%) and a super pipe, snowboarding is a major attraction of Northstar. Stampede, Gooseneck and Boca on the Lookout Mountain have been declared to be divine by most snowboarders. With an inclination towards groomed cruising and wood rides, the snowboarding at Northstar is devoid of serious steeps. The resorts boast of mellow terrains, which offer more pleasure than adventure.

Tubing
Gliding down a mountain in a tube feeling the powder with your hands and the gush of the cold wind in your face is an experience not matched by many others in this world. Located mid-mountain just above the Gondola, the tubing facilities at Northstar are one of the best in North America. Tubes and riders are transported by a tow-lift to the top of the mountain. A great way to reach a terrain that is otherwise inaccessible on foot, tubing is a real adventure for the brave.
