| Tomoka State Park |
Located just 3 miles north of Ormond Beach on North Beach Street is the nature lover’s paradise, Tomoka State Park. Camping, canoeing, fishing, boating, picnicking and nature trails are all available for those interested in active pursuits. Tomoka is a bird-watcher's paradise, with over 160 species sighted, especially during the spring and fall migrations.
The ancient Timucuan Indian settlement in Tomoka State Park is particularly interesting. A museum houses artworks by artist Fred Dana Marsh, wildlife displays, Native American artifacts and exhibits about Florida's history. A park store and restaurant are also available, which offer camping supplies and canoe rentals also. The park has full-facility campsites and youth camping for overnight stays. The park is open from 8 in the morning until sundown 365 days a year. Admission fees includes $4 per vehicle for up to 8 people, and pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers individual entrance permit costs $1 per person. Camping fee all round the year is $20 plus taxes.

| Bulow Creek State Park |
| Located off Old Dixie Highway 5 miles from Ormond Beach, Bulow Creek State Park is one the largest remaining location of southern live oak forest along the east coast of Florida. One of the largest live oak trees in the south, Fairchild Oak is more than 400 years old. Several trails are there leading to the interiors of the park, where hikers get to witness white-tailed deer, barred owls and raccoons. The 7-miles long Bulow Woods Trail takes hikers to Bulow Plantation Ruins Historic State Park. Visitors can picnic in any of the shady pavilions or at the lawn within view of the Fairchild Oak. No entrance fee is required to enter the park. The park is open from 8 AM until sundown 365 days a year.

| North Peninsula State Recreation Area |
| Featuring 900 acres of pristine shoreline and protected dunes, North Peninsula State Recreation Area is primarily a breeding ground for the endangered loggerhead sea turtles. The state park is primarily a nature preserve and refuge, hence no parking is allowed along the road and no dune crossovers are provided. Hikers can start northwards from Ormond-by-the-Sea and take in the serenity of one of the most beautiful and secluded beaches. In addition to swimming and sunbathing, fishermen will delight in the state park for its bountiful surf fishing. Bird watchers can spot a host of native and migratory species of birds in this park. The park opens from 8 AM until sundown 365 days a year.

| Fred Dana Marsh Museum |
| You can see some interesting artwork and historical landmarks right here at Ormond Beach. Set in the rustic Tomoka State Park, the museum features a collection of works by Fred Dana Marsh, an Ormond sculptor and architect. Fred Dana Marsh Museum, which houses artwork by the artist, also features wildlife displays, Native American artifacts and exhibits describing Florida’s history. The museum opens from 9:30 AM until 4:30 PM, daily.

| The Casements |
| The Casements, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was the former home of John D. Rockefeller. The house now serves as a cultural center with exhibits of Boy Scout memorabilia, an Italian ceramic display and a Hungarian Folklore Room. Guided tours are available Monday through Friday 10 AM - 2:30 PM and Saturday from 10 AM -11:30 AM. The Casements is open on weekdays from 9 AM - 9 PM, Monday through Thursday 9 AM -5 PM and on Fridays 9 AM until - noon.
