| The weather is sub-tropical, and the winter temperature is between 57° F to 65° F, during November to April and the high hovers around 75° F to 85° F. The summer season in Florida is often hot and humid, but the ocean breeze along the coast makes it quite bearable. The rainy season runs from May through October, with South Florida receiving 70 percent of its annual rainfall during these months. The temperature ranges between 85° F to 90° F while the lows are around 70° F to 75° Fl, and the humidity can be very high during this time. There are frequent thunderstorms at this time, which usually peak in July or August, but these storms pass quickly and there is sunshine very soon. The hurricane season starts late summer, but there is ample warning time whenever the storms approach the mainland.

Fort Lauderdale / Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is located approximately 52 miles south of Palm Beach Gardens in Fort Lauderdale. Opa Locka airport (OPF) is located roughly 64 miles south of Palm Beach Gardens in Miami, and finally the Miami International Airport (MIA) located around 72 miles south of Palm Beach Gardens in Miami.
Palm Tram Routes 44 and 50 run from the airport to Tri-Rail's nearby Palm Beach Airport station daily. There are taxi and limousine services from Palm Beach International Airport (PBIA). In case you want a limo service, you have to book at least a day in advance. The lowest fares are $2 per mile, with the meter starting at $1.25. Depending on your destination, a flat rate from PBIA may be a cheaper option and can save money. Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are available.
There are Greyhound Lines buses in West Palm Beach station. PalmTran buses run between Worth Avenue and Royal Palm Way in Palm Beach and other areas of West Palm Beach and they require an exact change.
