| Palm Beach Zoo is a popular attraction for tourists. Spread over 23 acres of lush habitat, it has jaguars, red kangaroo, Bengal tigers, Malayan mouse deer, Florida panther, American alligator, macaws, etc. The zoo has a Species Survival Plan for the animals, apart from supporting other conservation projects. The zoo is open from 9 AM to 5 PM everyday except on Thanksgiving and Christmas. The zoo is wheelchair accessible but no pets are allowed. Outside beverages are not allowed in the zoo. A full service restaurant, a multi-exhibit collection and an interactive fountain are other attractions in the zoo. Tickets are priced at $12.95 for adults, $9.95 for senior citizens and $8.95 for children aged 3 to 12. Group tickets are priced differently and enquiries need to be made about the same. Wheelchair, stroller, double stroller and a wagon are available for rent. Admission is free for zoo members.

| The Flagler Museum |
| The Flagler Museum, which was earlier the home of Henry Morrison Flagler, is now open to the public. Apart from a huge array of exhibits, the museum also has a store where you can buy exclusive clothing, jewelry and souvenirs. The museum has a café as well, and is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM and on Sundays from noon to 5 PM. It is closed on Mondays, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Tickets are priced at $10 for adults and $3 for children (aged 6 to 12.).

| Hibel Museum of Art |
| There is this Hibel Museum of Art, which preserves and protects the paintings of Edna Hibel apart from original stone lithographs, personal antiques, paperweights, Asian artifacts and furniture. It is a non-profit museum and promotes arts and cultural education within the community as well. The museum is open from Tuesday to Saturday between 11 AM to 5 PM and on Sundays from 1 PM to 5 PM. Admission to the museum is free. The museum also has a gift shop and often conducts classes in art. It has a membership program too.

| Morikami Museum and The Japanese Gardens |
If the culture and tradition of other nations excite you, head straight towards Morikami Museum and The Japanese Gardens on Delray Beach. Known for its exhibitions, monthly tea ceremonies and educational outreach programs, it is a rather unique discovery on your vacation. It also celebrates the various Japanese festivals in the traditional manner throughout the year. Morikami museum collection displays 5000 Japanese art objects. Spread over 200 acres, it has an expansive strolling garden, a tropical Bonsai collection and beautiful lakes. The gardens have been recently decorated and are breathtaking, to say the least.
The Japanese Gardens here have been rated as 8th among the top 300 outside Japan. There are 6 different gardens here, each inspired by a different period. The museum also has a library where you can learn more about the gardens, botany and the Japanese culture. The museum also has a store and the Cornell Café, which is an open-air café with a marvelous view of the gardens, apart from its sumptuous Japanese cuisine. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday between 10 AM to 5 PM. Tickets are priced at $10 for adults, $9 for senior citizens and $6 for children. Taxes are extra. Admission is free for members.

| The Water Parks |
| The Water Parks at Palm Beach offer excitement for both children and adults. Some of the water parks also have meeting spaces, summer camps and birthday packages. Rapids Water Park is among the best water parks in the state and you can head here for some exhilarating water rides during your vacation. Rides such as Big Thunder, Body Blaster, Pirate’s Plunge, Superbowls and attractions like Big Surf and Lazy River would leave you eager for more. There are special rides for the kids as well. The park is staffed competently, and has Red Cross certified lifeguards as well. The park also provides personal floatation devices at no extra cost. Tickets are priced at $29.95 for regular admission. Entry for children below 2 years is free. Group admission rates are lower. |
