Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, rising 8,500 feet above the desert floor, offers access to hiking and camping trips in San Jacinto State Park in less than 15 minutes. What is remarkable about this ride, aside from the breathtaking views of the valley, is the change in temperature. At the bottom of the tram route, the temperature on the desert floor can reach 120º F. Rising up through mountain canyons and chimneys; you arrive in an arctic-alpine forest.
You can enjoy this thrilling and one of the most scenic tram rides from Monday to Friday 10 AM – 8 Pm and on Saturday and Sundays from 8AM -8 PM. The rides are available every 30 minutes, and last tram comes down at 9:45 PM. Tickets for the tram ride cost $21 for adults, $19 for seniors, $14 for children (3-12 year olds,) and free for kids (under 3 years.) |

| Palm Springs is known for its 6 biking trails each of which is 3 to 13 miles long. If you forgot your bicycle or were too lazy to carry it around, rent one from the local bike rentals. |
