| Historic Pensacola Village |
| If you are history buff, you will love browsing through the Historic Pensacola Village that is home to quite a few architectural marvels and museums containing a wide collection of precious artifacts. The collection encompasses a wide variety of artifacts including kitchenware and other household items, military objects, tools, furniture, and decorative items. The village offers guided tour of the 1805 French-Creole Lavalle House, the 1871 Dorr House, the 1832 Old Christ Church and the 1890 Lear-Rocheblave House. Besides this you can also take a tour of the T.T. Wentworth, Jr. Florida State Museum, which displays exhibits of Western Florida’s history and has a special hands-on Discovery Museum for children. The admission to this museum is free. The Historic Pensacola Village is open Monday through Saturday from 10AM to 4PM. |

| Fort Pickens |
| Located at the west end of Santa Rosa Island, Fort Pickens was built in the early 1800's to fortify the Pensacola Harbor. A part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore, Fort Pickens is protected and maintained by the National Park Service. This premier recreational area offers abundant opportunities for lazing on the beaches or exploring the wonders of the area biking. Overlooking the bay is a picnicking area complete with a picnicking pavilion and a set of restrooms. |

| Big Lagoon State Recreation Area |
| Spread across 678 acres, this recreational area is a natural habitat for a wide variety of birds and animals. The recreational area has 75 campsites, and an ampitheater. Climb up the observation tower for a spectacular view of the scenic vistas or explore the nature trails to appreciate the area’s wildlife, flora and fauna. |

| Naval Aviation Museum |
| The museum has on display more than130 of the finest Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard aircrafts. Feel the thrill of flying in the 15-passenger full-motion flight simulator or enjoy an audio visual experience of the museum’s IMAX theater, featuring films on flight and other daring adventures on a seven-story-high screen. |
